I used this book in a community college econ class in conjunction with online reinforcement from Pearson Learning. Not all of the professors were using the same textbook, so had I skimmed the other choices and preferred this one. There were lots of real world examples, and the infographics were logically organized and the writing was clear. Disclaimer: I took the class online and really needed the practice from the Pearson portion, so I don't know if relying on just the problems and examples from the book would have been enough to learn the material. I'm guessing that would depend on your teacher.

This was the book that I rented but not what I received. I received macroeconomics principles problems policies. So when the professor asks me to read specific chapters I am reading the wrong material for the week.

i ordered a mIcroeconomics textbook as stated and amazon sent me a mAcroeconomics textbook. Because my professor did not teach directly from the book I did not realize for several weeks and many of the chapters did line up but not all of them. When it came time for studying for the test I had to order a new version of the textbook and I seem to be stuck with this one still.

This book helped me to an extent. My professor referenced the book, but we took notes in class based on her interpretations of the book. Depending on your professor, you might need to rely more on the book. I did not use it much this time, but I was grateful for the times I did use it.

The book is functional and I am able to get all the information I need from it. However, when I received it the cover had fold marks and there was some water damage to the pages making them crinkly. There is also minimal writing throughout the book but nothing that hinders me from reading the information provided.

Great condition

The book came in perfect condition, but all of chapter six came in 3/4 pages and were stuck together, cutting some of the bottom information of the pages out. It was odd because everything else about the book seemed brand new. Overall really good but my particular rental book came with some information cut off.

A good read for a good price
